Just to let you know, I've just released my new Thomas facepack on NWR3D! Although it has been released, I'm still kinda considering it as a beta version, as I think I can add a number of more faces. I think that some of you will be pleased with the ones I've added and replaced, though!

January 15th

I've finished packing up my models and have gotten around to

moving them to Northwestern Railways.

Feels a bit strange, I'll admit. But it has been very fun working with you all, and I wish the staff and model users all the best.

TheFattHatt1943

January 14th

Today, I wish to announce my resignation as admin of North Western Railway 3D.

After nearly two years of being here, I'm going off to a new site to start fresh again on my new project, Northwestern Railways. I'll leave full details on SI3D Forums within a few days.

I'll be moving all my content over there, so they will still be available for download. The old links on NWR3D will be removed in a few days time.

In the mean time, I'd like to annonce the new administrator, TomTomica2, who I believe in his dedication to the site over the last year will prove to be effective in shaping NWR3D in his image.

Also, I'd like to thank my other staff members and partners, for their contributions to the site, as well as the incredibly talented team of SI3D. You've all been such a huge help in your contributions.

At this point, I'm not certain about what TomTomica2 will do, regarding the staff. If you have any questions, please message him.

So with that, I'll bid North Western Railway 3D. Thanks guys, it's been a great 2 years!

December 29th

The MKII Billinton E2 update has now been released after several months of being offline. The pack includes No.'s 105 - 109, the 'MKII' versions of the E2, having had been built with extended side tanks. All 5 engines are included in their 3 liveries: London, Brighton, & South Coast Railway, Southern Railway, and British Railways.

December 15th

Today marks the release of the first part of the Talyllyn Railway.

It includes Tywyn Wharf , A Shunting yard for special excursion on the mainline & Tywyn Wharf British Railway Station . This route is the first part of the project . So expect more after Christmas ! Also a route is in the works ... I shall try to put it up before Christmas ;)

Cheers! Have a Merry Christmas, & a Happy New Year!

July 31st

Today sees an update of the older LNER A0 Pacific pack. They have been renamed, & will now show up under their proper names in the CMP. A few faces have also been altered a bit, & the pack now includes a brand new tender for the Wartime Black A0, with the proper NE now written on the side. A few other bits have been edited as well.

Enjoy!

July 18th

I decided to dig two old projects of mine.

First up, here is 98462, a Holden B12 that once resided on the NWR in its early days. He, along with 87546, were part of the group of larger engines that teased Edward whilst he was still stored away in the sheds. They were soon sent away for being cruel.

I decided to use what I call his 'Television' livery, as it fits in nicely with the other television series model engines.

Next up, here's Henry, in his red undercoat, as seen in 'Henry Sees Red'. This was something I had planned on releasing quite a while ago, but never got too it. After a bit of editing, he's now available. The file includes two models, one with RWS faces, & one with TVS faces.

Enjoy!

June 29th

A More Sites entry has been put in, this one being for SkarloeyFan13's Thomas Fanfiction Layouts.

Check it out today!

June 21st

Here is part 1 of the Ffarquhar branch.

Look out for the next part, The Quarry, soon!

Enjoy!

May 14th

Bonjour tout le monde !

Today I am releasing a project started 1 year ago,

My season 10 to 15 CGI Route.

Includes Maithwaite , the Dairy, Whiff's waste dump, Great Waterton, the Sodor Steamworks, the Search & Rescue Center, and more! I hope you will enjoy this route as much as I enjoyed building it!

Have Fun!

March 18th

Today, our Rolling Stock page gets its 1st listing, the Post-Series 3 Coaches.

These coaches come in four different liveries.

After Series 2, coaches recieved cream windows, and red & green bottom linings. Many were also seen with a thin yellow lining running across the center, although some have lacked this.

March 15th

3 of our previously available Narrow Gauge Engines have recieved some much needed updates.

'Sir Haydn', the Corris Railway Engine, & the Ffestiniog Railway engines, 'Palmerston' and 'Prince', have been given new liveries, faces, and a few other tweaks here and there.

March 14th

It's hard to believe it's already been 1 Year since 'North Western Railway 3D' went online! As a special present, here's a few engines I've been working on the past few weeks that I think will suit the occasion just fine!

Along with a much needed update of our first release, 'Furness Railway' Edward, also included is 'Eagle', of the Railway Series, & 'Proteus', the mythical narrow gauge engine.

'Tickled Pink' James has also been updated, & the original 'LNER A3 Pacific' Pack has been given a new download photo, and now runs under the proper name of 'LNER A0 Pacific'. Note however that nothing cosmetically has been changed on the actual models.

New engines & updates are also on the way. I've also updated the banner, using the photo above.

Thank you to all who have supported the site over it's first year, and a huge thanks to the staff of NWR3D, SI3D, & TSCH for all your hard work & cooperation!

January 10th

The site has been reverted back to its normal state.

Also in the works is a Complete Season 12 & 13 Route.

It will most likely includes places from Season 14 too.

We wish you a Happy New Year  :).

-TomTomica2

December 12th

Hello everyone, Today I've released 11 new routes for downloading. You can download them in the 'Routes' section of 'Vicarstown Sheds'.

 Enjoy!

-TomTomica2

December 1st

After nearly three months, the site is looking to get back on track once again.

As Christmas is approaching, some special surprises are in store, such as content updates, new banners, models, and more.

Also, as of today, the TRS2006 - TRS2009 conversion tutorial has been removed. DLS support has ended as of now. If you still have further questions about it, you are welcome to still drop us a line to our site e-mail system, northwesternrailway3d@yahoo.com.

Furthur updates shall continue as the month of December goes on.

September 6th

The TS2009 to TS2006 Content Conversion Tutorial's removal date has been extended to December 31st of this year.

I've realized that many still use TS2006, so I feel a tad obligated to keep it up until the end of the year, as more people will hopefully will have upgraded by then.

Also, new promo pics from TSCH have been put up for the LNER A3 Pack, & the Paint Bucket Pack, along with a link to TUGS 3D under the More Sites tab.

August 21st

Today, North Western Railway 3D is pleased to announce a site partnership with Trainz Simulator Content Help.com. TSCH will be creating new promotional photos for downloads, banners, & other things that will be a credit to the NWR3D site. We hope that all goes well as the site continues its overhaul.

Visit Trainz Simulator Content Help at:

http://trainzsimulatorcontenthelp.jimdo.com/

August 21st

After a long hiatus, the site will soon begin to get back on track in the coming few days. And what better way to celebrate then to introduce a new site banner?

The lovely piece of work was created, & generously donated by a Youtube user, by the name of TrainzContentHelp. Many thanks go to him for this banner, and we hope the rest of you will enjoy this new banner for North Western Railway 3D.

July 2nd

Today, I have released four new Series 12/13  routes, along with a Series 4/5 route, fresh out of the workshops in the Routes section.

Gordon's Hill

The Quarry

The Scrapyards

Brendam Docks

Series 4/5 Sheds

More routes to come!

-TomTomica2

July 1st

MrJoeyWheeler's Sudarian Mountian Railway has been removed due to unknown KUIDS, and other assorted issues.

The route is currently receiving a major update from HoorayforOliver, as MJW's TRS is currently out of service.

But never fear, a new route has also been released on the site.

The Watermill route is now available in the Routes section.

This specific setup was seen in the Series 3 episode

Thomas Gets Bumped.

Have Fun!

June 30th

I have been informed that there may be some missing KUIDs in my SMR route. Unfortunately since I no longer have trainz I can't check what such missing KUIDs are are. So, I just hope they are all minor, make sure to check the DLS and all links associated on the Routes Page of SI3D (2006). Most of such content comes from there.

Gomenasai!

-MrJoeyWheeler

June 28th

OK, well, here's an update. And it's the first non-HFO one too.

Today we have 2 releases, although for the time being no picture is available as I lack Trainz at the moment, and HoorayforOliver is busy producing The Railway Series.

Our first release is an updated version of  RaytheTrainEngine's Paint Cans, now TS2006 compatible, and 3 new colors of paint! An updated photo will be uploaded by July 1st.

The second release is something of mine...not to mention, the only item of mine. It's the Sudarian Mountain Railway (as seen in my fanfic). This route will receive an update whenever I reinstall Trainz, but in the meantime enjoy running your engines along this small route!

-MrJoeyWheeler

June 11th

Today, arrives the long awaited LNER A3 Pack, which includes Apple Green, Wartime Black, and BR Experimental Blue liveries.

Also, we welcome our newest staff member, No32ElrProductions!

May 29th

Today, arrives Palmerston, the basis for "Bertram", who currently resides on the Ffestiniog Railway in Gwynedd, Wales.

Please note that the model's livery is only temporary, and will be upgraded to the correct standards very soon.

May 20th

The overhaul shall be postponed until later May. Many of our Admins are busy with finals and all that involving School, and such, as we all near the end of the school year.

May 15th

The site is receiving an overhaul for the next few days or so. In that time, the site will be updated with new images, colours, and other new looks.

May 1st

1st Place: NicTrain123
2nd Place: GoldwoodThomas
3rd Place: ArtsBoi14
The banner for the site will be changing every week, cycling through these guys' posters.
Congrats to you 3!

Don't feel discouraged if you didn't win,
I just didn't want to pick more than 3, it wouldn't be much of a "Competition" then.

Thank you to all who entered, you all did a beautiful job! Also, a large thank you to all who support the site!

April 24th

Today arrives our 2nd narrow gauge engine, "Sir Haydn", who currently resides on the Talyllyn Railway, and was also used as the basis for "Sir Handel".

Also, we welcome yet another E2 class engine, although this time, in its original LB&SCR livery. This particular engine is primarily based on a     previously-available Hornby® model in the 1970's/80's.

April 11th

Thanks to our newest Staff Member, MrJoeyWheeler, we have been able to release brand new faces for Alfred and Judy, the Port-of-Par Twins!

April 8th

Here you today, is the 2nd Whistle Pack, which includes:

*Emily

*Spencer

*Whiff

April 7th

Today, we introduce our 3rd billboard advertisement to the site, this time for another wonderful site, Train4755 3D! The site admin, Lewis, does a fantastic job creating routes, engines, and scenery, so I'd like to think of this as a small tribute to all of his hard work.

Also, released is loadable rubbish(No Pun Intended). Phew, and don't forget to give it to Whiff! We don't think Gordon wants it stinking up the yard!

April 5th

Today welcomes of the long awaited drivable Kevin! There are a few bugs left to fix, but for now, I think he will get along quite well enough!

Pack includes drivable, static, and loadable versions.

Enjoy!

April 4th

Happy Easter, everyone! Today, arrives the first whistle pack, which includes 6 different, clear and TV series accurate whistles and horns for your Trainz models, including:

April 3rd

Today, our first advertisement debuted on Youtube!

March 27th

This Is Your Chance To Design A New And Improved Logo For North Western Railway 3D!

Read All About It Here

Good Luck!

March 20th

Here Are Two Very Special Twin Engines, Alfred and Judy! These Unusually Short Engines Were Built To Cope With Tight Curves, And Low Bridges. They Also Were The Basis Models For Their "Thomas" Counterparts, Bill & Ben. Like Them, These Two Also Originally Hauled China Clay, In England.

These Models Are In Fact Missing One Detail, The Traditional "Port Of Par" Text Above Their Smokeboxes, However, Seeing As They Are Now Officially Titled To Be Working On The Bodmin and Wenford Railway, And The Fact That It Is Difficult To Rotate Text, I Decided Not To Bother With It. Despite This InaccuracyThey Still Look Quite Beautiful.

Enjoy!

March 18th

Today, We Welcome A Very Special New Addition, Thomas' Brother! Yes, Here Is The Ex-LB&SCR Southern Railway E2!

March 17th

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! And what better way to celebrate "Green Day", than with 2 brand new green engines! Here is the GWR Class 14xx, and the GWR Class 57xx! These Locomotives were built by the Great Western Railway in the 1930's, and many still continue to work on Heritage Railways to this day. The Class 14xx was also used as the basis for Oliver, the little GWR engine that was rescued from the scrap heap by Douglas in 1968(The Year Steam Ended On British Railways), and now works alongside Duck(57xx) on the "Little Western" Branch Line.

March 16th

Today, we have released three very special models!

With Thanks To Rich, We Have Been Able To Release Our Second "Before Sodor" Engine, Gordon, in his original LNER livery, and 2 new faces!

Next up, here is "Prince", Duke's brother who currently resides on the Ffestiniog Railway.

Also, James in his Pink Undercoat Livery, from the Series 13 Episode, "Tickled Pink"! And as you can see, James isn't happy about it!
